Historical Place.
There are many historical place in Yogyakarta that have a great value of nations, heroic story, and many more. Some of them are : Benteng Vredenburg, Yogyakarta Palace, Monumen Serangan Umum 1 Maret, Monumen Jogja Kembali, Gedung Agung / Gedung Negara and many more. They are place that give us some view about Yogyakarta's people strugle gain the colonialism of Dutch many years ago.


Culture Heritage
Yogyakarta, is a tourism city. It has many place that be a culture heritage. Tamansari, Sultan Palace, Prambanan Temple, Candisambisari Temple, Kalasan Temple and other.

Traditional Food Center
Gudeg is the most traditional food of Yogyakarta. We can find it in everywhere in Yogyakarta. Special place for it is Wijilan Street. We can Find a many kind of deliciouse gudeg there.

Place of Art Performance
We can enjoy many kind of traditional art in Yogya. We can come to Taman Budaya, Taman Hiburan Rakyat, Open Stage of Prambanan Temple. The most populair art performace is Ramayana Balet. It performanced daily in Taman Hiburan Rakyat and Open / indoor Stage of Prambanan Temple.

GUDEG, THE MOST FAVOURITE FOOD OF YOGYAKARTA

Gudeg is a traditional food from Yogyakarta, Indonesia which is made from young Nangka (jack fruit) among other things, boiled for several hours with palm sugar, and coconut milk. Additional spices include garlic, shallot, candlenut, coriander seed, galangal, bay leaves, and teak leaves, which last imparts a brown color to the dish. It is also called Green Jack Fruit Sweet Stew. Gudeg is usually served with white rice, chicken, hard-boiled egg, tofu and/or tempeh, and a stew made of crispy beef skins (sambal goreng krecek).

There is three types of gudeg; Dry, Wet and East-Javanese style. Dry gudeg is a gudeg which only have a bit of coconut milk and served dry. Wet gudeg is a gudeg which have a wetter look than the dry gudeg. It used a lot more coconut milk. Meanwhile, the East-Javanese style gudeg employ more spicier and hotter taste, compared to the Yogyakarta-style gudeg, which is sweeter.

There are many place can we find to get gudeg. The most popular place of gudeg stage is Wijilan Street. There, we can find many place that sell gudeg, with many kind of choosen. These shop are open daily start from the morning until night.

We can find another nice place to enjoy gudeg at the night; Malioboro street, Solo Street, Gejayan Street, and many more. On that location, people sell gudeg at the night. Usualy start at 9 pm until midle night. It's so romantic, excited and beauty momment when we enjoy gudeg at the night.

Yogyakarta (some people call it Jogja, Jogjakarta, or Yogya) is a city with outstanding historical and cultural heritage. GUDEG DEWI

Gudeg telah menjadi salah satu ikon Yogyakarta yang sangat terkenal. Masakan tradisional ini memang memiliki daya tarik yang khas, khususnya pada rasanya yang manis dan gurih. Sangat pas untuk sarapan pagi bersama dengan bubur atau menu makan malam sambil lesehan...mmmm...nikmat banget.
Di Yogyakarta, kita dapat menemukan penjual gudeg bertebaran di setiap ujung jalan. Mulai dari tengah kota sampai pinggir kampung.
Nah, yang mau saya ceritakan ini adalah sebuah warung gudeg yang letaknya cukup jauh dari pusat kota Yogyakarta, namun soal rasa tidak boleh diabaikan.
GUDEG DEWI, demikian warung itu diberi nama. Sesuai dengan nama pemiliknya. Terletak di Jl. Kakap Raya, Minomartani, di sebelah utara kota Yogyakarta. Memang cukup jauh dari kota. Tetapi bagi mereka yang tinggal di daerah utara, tentu tidak terlalu jauh.
Selama saya tinggal di Yogyakarta, berbagai jenis makanan dan tempat makan telah saya coba.
Dalam hal gudeg, saya menjamin GUDEG DEWI tidak kalah dengan gudeg-gudeg lain yang telah lama berkibar namanya. Bahkan saya berani mengatakan, GUDEG DEWI memiliki kelebihan dalam hal rasa. Sebagai GUDEG BASAH, GUDEG DEWI memiliki rasa gurih yang sangat khas, guruhnya pas, manisnya pas, sehingga tidak neg.

meskipun pada ribut soal jabatan gubernur, kota yang semakin kotor dan smerawut, dan seabrek masalah lain... Jogja tetep cantik...

A Beauty Prambanan

Kemana saat liburan tiba?
Salah satu alternatif yang layak menjadi tujuan untuk berwisata untuk liburan adalah Candi Prambanan. Hanya dengan Rp. 3.000,-, kita bisa menikmati perjalanan yang menyenangkan dari kota Yogya menuju Prambanan, dengan menggunakan bus Trans Jogja.

Selain panorama Candi yang memang sungguh cantik, kita juga bisa jalan-jalan sambil itung-itung olah raga ringan dan menikmati udara yang segar.

Kemudian setelah capek, kita bisa minum dan yang penting...makan pecel khas prambanan yang memang ...mak nyossss.,......

Kita juga bisa mendapatkan souvenir-souvenir cantik dengan harga yang cukup terjangkau...

Candi Prambanan, sebenarnya bernama Candi Rara Jonggrang atau Candi Sewu. Disebut demikian karena menurut legenda jawa, di dalam candi ini terdapat patung Rara Jonggrang, seorang puteri cantik yang disihir oleh Bandung Bandawasa menjadi patung karena menggagalkan usaha pembangunan candi oleh Bandung Bandawasa. Disebut Candi Sewu karena dalam komplek ini terdapat seribu bangunan candi. Namun candi ini lebih di kenal dengan nama Candi Prambanan, karena letaknya di Prambanan, sebuah wilayah perbatasan antara propinsi Jawa Tengah dan DIY. Desa Prambanan sendiri wilayahnya masuk antara kabupaten Sleman dan Klaten. Candi ini dibangun pada sekitar tahun 850 Masehi oleh salah seorang dari kedua orang ini, yakni: Rakai Pikatan, raja kedua wangsa Mataram I atau Balitung Maha Sambu semasa Wangsa Sanjaya.

DJOKJA, KOTA PENUH WARNA

Rasanya tak akan pernah habis untuk dikisahkan bagaimana manisnya Djokja. Yah..saya lebih suka menceritakan manisnya Djokja dari semua yang pernah saya temui di kota ini; indahnya taman sari, eksotiknya kraton, romantisnya malioboro, cerahnya pasar klitikan, ramainya pasar beringharjo dan masih banyak lagi.
