Yogyakarta is an excited place. There are many beauty place to be visited when you come there.

Some of them are:

Historical Place.
There are many historical place in Yogyakarta that have a great value of nations, heroic story, and many more. Some of them are : Benteng Vredenburg, Yogyakarta Palace, Monumen Serangan Umum 1 Maret, Monumen Jogja Kembali, Gedung Agung / Gedung Negara and many more. They are place that give us some view about Yogyakarta's people strugle gain the colonialism of Dutch many years ago.


Culture Heritage

Yogyakarta, is a tourism city. It has many place that be a culture heritage. Tamansari, Sultan Palace, Prambanan Temple, Candisambisari Temple, Kalasan Temple and other.

Traditional Food Center
Gudeg is the most traditional food of Yogyakarta. We can find it in everywhere in Yogyakarta. Special place for it is Wijilan Street. We can Find a many kind of deliciouse gudeg there.

Place of Art Performance
We can enjoy many kind of traditional art in Yogya. We can come to Taman Budaya, Taman Hiburan Rakyat, Open Stage of Prambanan Temple. The most populair art performace is Ramayana Balet. It performanced daily in Taman Hiburan Rakyat and Open / indoor Stage of Prambanan Temple.

GUDEG, THE MOST FAVOURITE FOOD OF YOGYAKARTA

Gudeg is a traditional food from Yogyakarta, Indonesia which is made from young Nangka (jack fruit) among other things, boiled for several hours with palm sugar, and coconut milk. Additional spices include garlic, shallot, candlenut, coriander seed, galangal, bay leaves, and teak leaves, which last imparts a brown color to the dish. It is also called Green Jack Fruit Sweet Stew. Gudeg is usually served with white rice, chicken, hard-boiled egg, tofu and/or tempeh, and a stew made of crispy beef skins (sambal goreng krecek).

There is three types of gudeg; Dry, Wet and East-Javanese style. Dry gudeg is a gudeg which only have a bit of coconut milk and served dry. Wet gudeg is a gudeg which have a wetter look than the dry gudeg. It used a lot more coconut milk. Meanwhile, the East-Javanese style gudeg employ more spicier and hotter taste, compared to the Yogyakarta-style gudeg, which is sweeter.

There are many place can we find to get gudeg. The most popular place of gudeg stage is Wijilan Street. There, we can find many place that sell gudeg, with many kind of choosen. These shop are open daily start from the morning until night.

We can find another nice place to enjoy gudeg at the night; Malioboro street, Solo Street, Gejayan Street, and many more. On that location, people sell gudeg at the night. Usualy start at 9 pm until midle night. It's so romantic, excited and beauty momment when we enjoy gudeg at the night.

YOGYAKARTA / JOGJA

Yogyakarta (some people call it Jogja, Jogjakarta, or Yogya) is a city with outstanding historical and cultural heritage. Yogyakarta was the centre of the Mataram Dynasty (1575-1640), and until now the kraton (the sultan's palace) exists in its real functions.
